Russian Significant Common Vladimir Frolov, deputy commander of the 8th Army, was buried Saturday immediately after remaining killed in battle in Ukraine, Russian state media noted, which would make him the eighth Russian common killed in Moscow’s invasion, if Ukrainian statements are legitimate.
A funeral for Frolov was held at a cemetery in St. Petersburg, in accordance to the Russian information agency TASS.
St. Petersburg Gov. Alexander Beglov explained Frolov fought in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, TASS noted, with out elaborating.
Some of the generals who had been killed were veterans of Russian operations in Georgia and Syria, the Wall Avenue Journal described, depriving the Kremlin of professional leaders.
